A two Phase project, our first charge was to locate a massive 20' x 60' gunite pool for the new owners of this home. After carefully considering its orientation to the house a large wooden deck was imagined to transition about half of the six foot grade change. A bluestone terrace breaks the additional grade change with both formal and informal paths to the three sided bluestone pool deck. Mature plantings were maintained, preserved and enhanced to provide an immediate mature landscape.
The second Phase enhanced the arrival by eliminating an excessive amount of asphalt, re-aligning masonry steps, paths and terraces. A new "green space" was enhanced with indigenous plant material highlighted with low voltage lighting.
